While enroute to a Provincial Park, Robert's vehicle rolled after encountering black ice on November 3, 1983. On September 27, 2013 the Province of Manitoba named a lake in his honour. Robert Logan Lake is located near Childs Lake in Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
During a fisheries patrol, Allan drowned after his patrol boat exploded on Lake Winnipegosis on July 27, 1976.
William was murdered by an impaired trapper who had shot him with a shotgun in the leg. He died on May 12, 1967 from complications resulting from the wound. An island on Cormorant Lake in north-west Manitoba was renamed William James McLeod island on September 27, 2013.
While conducting a trapline patrol, Charles drowned when his muskeg tractor broke through the ice on April 3, 1966. An island on Clearwater Lake near The Pas, MB was renamed Morrish Island on September 27, 2013.
